Dapo Zacchaeus (Dapo pelmar) has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in obafemi awolowo university where he stumbled on music, He is an immensely Gifted singer,songwriter,Music Director/Arranger and a performing/recording artiste popularly known as Dapo Pelmar. He started singing professionally in 2015.

He is a voice major certified by Vocal plus academy and also has a diploma in music psychology from Alisson school of music,Currently studying taking Music courses with ALVIN ACADEMY IN Texas.

He has served in/with various organizations, Bands and Artistes as Background Vocalist,Vocal Arranger,Music Director and Voice Coach and is currently a vocal coach/trainer working with a handful of churches in lagos and with seasoned singers globally.

Dapo as a seasoned Background singer has worked with Top producers in the country namely masterkraft,wole oni,rotimi keys,mr wols,Ekelly to mention a few

He has worked both within and beyond the shores of Africa with a handful of artistes including Nathaniel Bassey, Sinach, Tim Godfrey, Burna boy, Kore, sammie okposo, kizz daniel, Pita, Waje, Pato-Ranking, Darey Art Alade, Nosa, Ty bello, Falz, Onos Ariyo, Jekalyn Carr, Micheal Stuckey and more…

He released his debut single on the 30th of October,2021 titled ‘The Anthem’ a song that calls for the nation as a whole to pray for nigeria.

Dapo was a runner-up at Project nu Wine organized by TREM in 2015, more recently, he emerged as a finalist on The Voice Nigeria season three in 2021 with recognition for his unmatched vocal prowess and skills.

He serves as the Music-Director of fast-rising music group, KONNECT WORSHIP under the spiritual leadership of APOSTLE PROMISE ADEYEMI.
